Setbacks and other delays are typical in aviation; they are forever conjoined. I’ve been delayed in my flying recently for various reasons however, it looks like a green light for my upcoming plans. Of course, I had come as close to the day before a scheduled flight when I received notice that my airplane was to unexpectedly go into maintenance. On two separate occasions, I’ve made it to the airport and preflighted before canceling a flight so I consider not to be in the clear until I start the engine. Refer to my previous blog entry for a hint on where I’ll be going - a far distance for just a half-day of flying.
I am also tapping more into my creative side, not only writing this blog but also developing ideas for video content. The motivation is there but the execution is proving to be more difficult. Hopefully, if I’m lucky with my cameras I will have at least two videos from this trip.
Also, I may try something new and either write or produce a video on the airport or commercial airline experience though I am not sure of specifics just yet. It’s a departure from what I have been doing up to this point but I would like to widen the scope of Farther Faster Higher and this may be the right opportunity to try something new.
Stay tuned.
