I went flying this past Saturday. While it was a beautiful and wonderful day to be in the skies, I was not able to accomplish my agenda of doing a run through of ForeFlight’s Performance Plus for the flight. As I had mentioned before, it wasn’t even the flight I had originally wanted to make. Still, I was able to spend a few hours flying in the Cirrus SR20 and I caught much of it on my GoPro cameras and will be posting videos soon.

I am new to filming flights and even more a novice at video editing. I was disappointed to learn that the battery for both cameras died prior to my arrival in Keene. I had shot so much footage on both cameras before even taking off but I still thought that they would last through the entirety of the flight.

Lesson learned. I charged both batteries while having breakfast in Keene and now had the foresight to turn the cameras off for some of the en route portion of the return flight. I’ll be posting a separate video of that flight at a later date.
