I’ll make this short.

Yesterday, November 21, was a beautiful day to fly over the City of New York (at least the first half of it). I had cameras to capture beautiful views both inside and outside of the airplane. That almost worked flawlessly however, time was the enemy. The extra time it took to mount the cameras meant extra time waiting in line for takeoff, That extra time waiting in line meant I couldn’t turn off the outside camera to save valuable battery life. That resulted in less time to record actual flying footage. Additionally, for a reason that I still cannot understand, my cockpit audio did not record for the entirety of the video. That means barely recognizable audio and that makes for a rather bland video. Now I’m left with whether or not I should share whatever content I do have.

A cascading event of circumstances that worked against my ultimate purpose. It’s a bit disappointing and this experience taught me that I simply have to plan better. In the next few days, I will piece together something and share it to the aviation community. If you have any suggestions or workarounds on these kind of issues, please let me know in the comments below.
